It is going to be the seventh edition of Prathidhwani Qisa – the biggest short film festival for IT employees conducted by Prathidhwani.

Prathidhwani Qisa Film Festival 2018( PQFF 2018) has set the platform for IT employees from over 600 IT companies in Kerala to showcase their talents.

The last date for submitting the entries is 25th November 2018. Films produced after 1st January 2017 will be eligible

The selected films will be screened on 1st & 2nd December 2018 at Travancore Hall, Technopark, Trivandrum.

Award ceremony will be held on 5th December at Infopark Kochi. Award winning movies will be showcased after the function

This time, there will be a special emphasis on ‘Rebuild Kerala’ by inviting microfilms (less than 3 minutes)too on the theme’Rebuild Kerala’. This will be treated as a separate category.

Along with mementoes, a cash award of Rs 11,111/- awaits the Best Film and Rs 5,555/- each for Second Best Film, Best Script & Best Director respectively. Best Performer (male/female), Cinematographer and Editor will also receive special awards. There will be a cash award for the best microfilm too.

Over 160+ short films by the Techies have been premiered in Prathidhwani’s Qisa festivals up till now. The winners received the awards from the acclaimed personalities of the film industry: Sri Shaji N Karun (2012), Sri Vineeth Srinivasan (2013), Sri Adoor Gopalakrishnan (2014), Sri Shyamaprasad (2015), Sri Jayaraj (2016), Dileesh Pothan (2017) in previous years.

It’s mandatory that the Director & the scriptwriter should be an employee of an IT company in Kerala. Films that participated in previous Qisa festivals will not be considered for this year’s festival.
